This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle is powered by a 350 SBC 4-bolt main engine, bored .030 over and decked, paired with Eagle Iron high-performance heads, Scorpion 1.5 hydraulic roller rockers, Comp cam valve guides, and an HEI distributor. It features an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor with electronic choke, a Summit aluminum high-rise intake manifold, and ARP hardware throughout. Supporting components include a new alternator and power steering pump, along with finned aluminum valve covers, breathers, and an oval air cleaner. A new thermostat with chrome housing has also been installed.
The exhaust system consists of Patriot ceramic-coated long tube headers with ARP stainless header bolts, Flowmaster Super 50 mufflers, new piping, and chrome wide rear tips, delivering a classic 1960s street rod sound. Cooling is handled by a new 3-core aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The fuel system has been completely refreshed with a new fuel pump, tank, sending unit, and lines.
Power is sent through a Borg Warner T10 4-speed close-ratio transmission with a new clutch and flywheel, operated by a Hurst Indy floor shifter with a white knob. The drivetrain also includes a new aluminum driveshaft with yokes and U-joints, and a GM 10-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. The car is equipped with power steering, a new brake booster, and a new proportioning valve. Electrical has been fully redone with a Painless wiring harness, and an Optima Red Top battery is installed.
The exterior features deep water blue metallic paint completed in 2018, accented by a Yenko-style white stripe kit over a cowl hood. The stripes are applied as decals over clear coat. The body is complemented by new bumpers, trim, badges, moldings, and body mounts with bushings.
The suspension has been upgraded with tubular upper and lower control arms, boxed rear trailing arms, front and rear sway bars, new shocks, and coil springs. Braking is handled by four-wheel power disc brakes. Additional exterior updates include a new grille, headlight bezels, bowtie emblem, wiper motor, tail light housings, bezels, and side marker lights. All lighting components are installed and functioning properly.
The interior has been fully refreshed with new vinyl seat covers, headliner, sun visors, carpet, and door panels. Front bucket seats are fitted, along with Chevelle script floor mats and a white 4-speed shifter knob. The dash retains a mostly stock appearance, enhanced by a RetroSound Bluetooth stereo with USB and rear 6×9 speakers, a brushed aluminum 3-spoke 14-inch sport steering wheel, and added under-dash oil and temperature gauges, along with a Bosch tachometer mounted to the steering column.
Glass and seals have also been updated, including new window felts, weatherstripping, window rubber, front windshield, rear glass, and window regulators. A new speedometer cable has been installed.
The car rides on American Racing VN105 Torq Thrust D wheels (15×7 front, 15×8 rear) with Cooper Cobra radial tires showing approximately 90% tread life.
This Chevelle features extensive performance upgrades, with a fully refreshed suspension and drivetrain. Originally equipped with factory air conditioning, it can be upgraded with a Vintage Air aftermarket system. Recent servicing includes oil and filter, coolant flush with new antifreeze, and transmission gear oil change completed on 02/15/2023.
This is a strong-running, attention-grabbing 1960s muscle car, ideal for shows and cruising. It has a clear title, has been fully serviced and safety inspected, and is ready to drive.
