This vehicle is powered by a 327 V8 engine, believed to be numbers matching, paired with a 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. It is equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor, aluminum radiator, and electric cooling fans. Additional features include air conditioning, power steering, and power front disc brakes. The exhaust system retains stock manifolds with the original 2-into-1 factory setup. The rear differential is a GM unit, believed to be the original Chevrolet 10-bolt. A steel 3-inch cowl hood completes the setup.
The exterior is finished in Bright Cherry Red with a small flake metallic base/clear coat. It is complemented by black accent hash stripes and custom graphics painted under clear. The body lines are straight, with even gaps on the doors, hood, and trunk, all of which open and close properly. The car is rust-free, with solid original floor pans. Chrome bumpers, emblems, and trim are in 9 out of 10 condition. The trunk is clean and rust-free, retaining the original spare tire and an amplifier. It rides on polished 18-inch Eagle alloy wheels with 2018 Firehawk tires.
The black vinyl interior presents like new, featuring white accents, custom door panels, a refreshed dash, new headliner, and package tray with 6×9-inch speakers. The gauges are original and functional, with the exception of the tachometer.
This is an older restoration that has held up very well, having been stored and covered indoors for the past 30 years. The original smog pump and related components remain under the hood since 1967, and there is no evidence the car has left the state. The headlight doors currently operate manually; an upgrade such as the Detroit Speed electric RS headlight door kit is recommended. The AM/FM stereo is functional, with front kick panel and rear speakers providing good sound for its age.
The car comes with a clear title.
Disclosures: The tachometer is currently non-operational. The paint shows scratches, chips, touch-ups, and minor imperfections. The air conditioning system blows air but does not cool and will require servicing.
