Maintained, garaged, and loved by the same owner for the last 35 years, this little red Corvette gets a lot of attention out on the road. It was restored and upgraded approximately 30 years ago, retaining a visually stock appearance overall while hiding high performance upgrades underneath. It is incredibly dependable and fast, currently showing 36,712 miles on the odometer, and comes with a clear title.
Exterior and Tops
The paint and body are in very nice driver condition, perfect for taking to shows and cruises. The exterior bumpers have been re-chromed to show condition, while all emblems, rocker moldings, and wheels were upgraded during the restoration. As a vehicle built to be driven, the paint does have some touch ups, scratches, paint chips, and minor imperfections. The front egg crate grill and front turn signal trim are original and show some pitting. For versatility, the car includes a matching red hard top, and the black vinyl convertible soft top is installed and ready to use if needed.
Interior and Drivability
Inside, the cabin features a classic black bucket seat interior. This C2 is super easy to drive and shift, starting up effortlessly and stopping incredibly quickly. The driving experience is vastly improved over a standard classic thanks to the addition of power rack and pinion steering alongside power disc brakes, making it a highly enjoyable cruiser.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood sits a potent 350 Edelbrock Crate Engine equipped with Edelbrock aluminum heads and a Holley 650CFM 4-barrel dual pump carburetor. The exhaust is perfectly tuned to give it that classic muscle car sound. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission featuring a close ratio shift pattern, ensuring smooth and rapid gear changes.
