This iconic Chevy Nova SS is a turn-key hot rod built to be driven and enjoyed. Originally from California, it was completely restored approximately 10 years ago and has been meticulously cared for since. The current owner has driven the vehicle about 5,000 miles since 2022, adding significant performance and security upgrades through a well known local professional hot rod shop. It is incredibly dependable, comfortable for both freeway and surface street driving, and comes with historical maintenance records that will transfer to the new owner.
Exterior and Styling
The stunning Nassau Blue base coat and clear coat paint is rated an 8.5 out of 10, bringing massive curb appeal to this classic body style. The body is exceptionally straight with zero rust, no waves, and excellent panel alignment on the hood, doors, and trunk. All exterior bumpers, moldings, emblems, stainless trim, and chrome are in beautiful condition. The aggressive stance is completed by 17 inch Billet Specialties polished chrome wheels wrapped in radial tires.
Interior and Comfort
Inside, the cabin features a custom Black and Gray leather interior with white stitching, extending to the fully reclining bucket seats, dash, headliner, and door panels. The trunk also boasts custom carpet upholstery. Comfort and modern conveniences are prioritized with a tilt steering column, window tint, a custom center console with billet aluminum cupholders, a custom B&M shorty shifter, and a Killer Bluetooth stereo system. For added security, the car is equipped with a dual kill switch and a professionally installed Ravelco Anti-Theft Device, which is an $800 value.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood sits an award-worthy, fully detailed engine bay loaded with polished chrome and billet aluminum, including striking billet hood hinges. The heart of this Nova is a BluePrint 383 SBC engine paired with an Edelbrock 650 CFM 4-barrel carburetor featuring a vacuum secondary and electric choke, a polished chrome aluminum high rise intake, and an MSD electronic ignition. A Detroit Speed stainless steel fuel tank was also recently installed. Key engine specifications include:

Block and Rotating Assembly: BluePrint high strength cast iron block (4-bolt main, 4.000″ bore, 1-piece rear main seal) built with a cast crankshaft (3.750″ stroke), OEM type 5.700″ rods, and hypereutectic pistons.

Drivetrain, Suspension, and Brakes
This Nova delivers huge acceleration and shifts incredibly smoothly thanks to the recently installed 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission and GM 10 bolt rear end. Handling is vastly improved over stock with quick response rack and pinion steering, a 4-link rear suspension, and tubular upper and lower front A-arms paired with a front anti-sway bar and stabilizer struts. Coil-over Ride Tech shocks are fitted on both the front and rear, while stopping power is confidently handled by drilled and slotted disc brakes.
