This custom truck is powered by a 427 tall deck big block engine, equipped with dual 750 CFM Demon carburetors and a Mooneyham 6-71 supercharger. The exhaust system consists of custom 2.5-inch ceramic-coated fender-well headers feeding into 4-inch collectors, paired with fabricated stainless steel mufflers and custom 4-chamber side pipes. Power is delivered through a 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission with a polished case, pan, and flywheel cover, connected to a polished aluminum driveshaft. The rear end is a narrowed Ford 9-inch differential with 3.70 posi-traction gears, supported by a custom 4-link suspension.
The chassis is fully custom, powder-coated, and boxed, with additional reinforced cross supports. The truck features rack-and-pinion steering, front and rear air bag suspension with a chrome compressor, and chrome-polished front shocks. Braking is handled by 4-piston Wilwood disc brakes with slotted and drilled rotors, stainless steel lines, chrome calipers, and a chrome-plated hydroboost master cylinder.
The custom bed is a standout feature, fabricated with stainless steel supports, oak wood flooring finished in triple clear coat with stainless strips, and a welded tailgate. It includes a hydraulic lift system with adjustable speed, chrome box bed lifts, and a 17-gallon stainless fuel tank. Additional exterior highlights include a polished aluminum hood scoop, triple-plated chrome front bumper, custom polished aluminum rear bumper, LED tail lights, chrome hood hinges, and stainless hood springs.
The truck rides on Billet Specialties Street Lite 15-inch front wheels with Michelin tires, and Centerline 18-inch rear wheels wrapped in Hoosier tires. The rear features 18-inch wide tubbed fender wells.
Finished in Tuxedo Black single-stage paint (approximately 10 years old), the body is rated 9 out of 10, with straight panel lines across the hood, doors, and body. Minor imperfections such as chips, scratches, and touch-ups are present but only noticeable upon close inspection. A 1957-style hood has been installed for added rigidity and visual impact, featuring dual brow lines.
The interior is fully custom, upholstered in black leather by Bill’s in Brea, California. It includes reclining bucket seats, a custom roll bar with 5-point racing harnesses, matching leather door panels and headliner, and a Billet Specialties leather-wrapped steering wheel. The custom dashboard houses AutoMeter Sport-Comp gauges, and the truck is equipped with power windows and multiple toggle switches controlling the fuel pump, ignition, electric fans, air bags, bed lift, and master kill switch.
This build has received additional upgrades and refinements over the past three years. The engine, drivetrain, and overall build have less than 5,000 miles since completion. The camshaft was recently changed to improve street drivability, resulting in a smoother ride more comparable to a car than a traditional truck, both in city driving and on the highway.
While it features a 3-pedal appearance, this is an automatic overdrive transmission with a tall shifter designed to resemble a manual. The truck includes unique show features such as the hydraulic lift bed, making it a standout at car shows and cruise events. A custom truck cover and a clear bubble storage Car Capsule are also included.
